Heidi Klum looking Jiffy Pop but cute

Heidi Klum pregnant again. This woman never gains or at least retains the weight for very long. She looks fab and gracious as ever pregnant or not.

The Wedding Belle

These are cute looks for a wedding and this is June and the official month of weddings. Well if you're not gonna be a bride you may as well look as good as one.

Carla Bruni named best hat wearer

Carla Bruni everywhere. I don't know what the fixation is on her. Maybe this award was granted because she's the only leaders wife who actually wears hats, she's young and all the hype is on her. Of course Britains' own queen wears hats but she's a little old lady who's been around for quite a bit. The Queen came 2nd btw.
Sometimes Carla looks good and sometimes she's about as average as any other woman. ;-)

Emanuela de Paula

Yes it's Emanuela de Paula the gorgeous model from the Next and Victoria's Secrets ads. The Brasilian beauty gets a lot of coverage in Europe but it would be great to see more of her in America.

Anna Sui for Target!?

I see that Target will be carrying another designer label in their stores with a collection of designs from Anna Sui. Like Betsey Johnson, Sui does a play on wild funky looks. I hope this new collection at Target will be as interesting.
Read on it: http://www.stylelist.com/blog/2009/05/07/anna-sui-for-target-its-like-she-read-our-minds/
Alexander McQueen has a designer collection at Target for hungry fashionistas too.

The Cover

Sessilee Lopez and Liya Kebede made the covers of the special issue of Italian Vogue’s black issue. Ebony featured a delightful cover of four of the top black models in the industry; Tyra, Iman, Kimora and Alek (this was a really good issue). Latina added a darker shade of mocha to its cover by adding Sessilee Lopez. Town & Country featured English rose Thandie Newton and the Asian fashion mag Audrey graced actress Tia Carrere. Liya Kebede. A classic photo of Christy Turlington for Vogue.
These covers were absolutely beautiful and I was glad to see Vogue finally add black women as singles on a cover for a change.

The gorgeous Yasmeen Ghauri

Philip Treacy get-ups

I was just at the Philip Treacy store in Belgravia the other day. Treacey's hats are to die for. Yeah they're wild and over the top but so unbelievably exciting! I don't care what anyone says the green garden look on Sarah Jessica Parker's London première for Sex & the City was awesome. Maybe if it had been on someone who is more attractive people would not have whined about it. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracee Ellis Ross

I used to love watching Girlfriend's to see what great outfit Joan would be wearing. I love the way both Joan (Tracee) dresses with lots of colour and flare. Even more I loved her hair despite what some critical types might say. This vintage look is absolutely stunning. Tracee has a great sense of style and elegance--wonder who she got it from.

Marc Jacobs

The Marc Jacobs collections are always fabulous. I love the MJ bags at Nordstrom. Not sure if I am so keen on the new Louis Vuitton stuff though.

Katoucha Niane

I remember the beautiful, colourful and glamorous photos and runways shows that featured Katoucha. She was beautiful and exotic. I was glad to see her as one of the leading ladies of colour in Yves Saint Laurent shows.
It was sad to hear of her death at such a young age a few years ago.

Those 80s Revlons ads

/>

I remember these Revlon ads from the later part of the 80s and 90s. It was great to see the model and where she came from. These ads are classic and glamorous.
The black and white shot of Herb Ritts and the supermodels is one true work of art. Another piece of classic fashion photography.

Our favourite models of all time

Canadian model Yasmeen Ghauri, the Vogue cover featuring Tatiana Patitz, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington; Texas supermodel Jerry Hall, the first black American model to grace the cover of Vogue Beverly Johnson and Aussie model Elle McPherson posing for Playboy.
